What really makes this work well, though, is how the rectangular levels become more and more complicated as you progress, with breakable walls that make this maze-like, and such environmental hazards as spiked floors and moving saw blades. Well, except when performing a rechargeable special attack, like when he slices and dices enemies with a sword, or when he takes out a group of monsters with a rocket launcher. The game is also somewhat simplified, deceptively so, as Mini Slayer never runs out of ammo and never stops shooting at his enemies just watch him go. In Mighty Doom, the Doom Slayer from the classic first-person shooter series is now the Mini Slayer, a cute soldier who fights the same kind of demonic creatures of the bigger games, except now the viewpoint is aerial, the action is more arcade-like, and the blood and gore is.okay, it's still bloody and gory. The cutesy look of the characters comes from a line of collectible toys by Numskull that were released in conjunction with the previous game, Doom Eternal. While the game is free, players can use in-game currency - which can be earned by playing or watching ads, or bought with real money - to improve their character and his weapons, as well as to play and continue playing when they die. Players can choose the color of the blood (red, blue, green, orange, or pink), or turn it off, though the default is red. There are also animations that show the player violently killing larger enemies in graphic detail.
